I began my journey as an early childhood educator over twenty years ago. during this time I have had the privilege to work with a wealth of inspired professionals, committed and enthusiastic parents and wonderfully unique children. It is to these children that I am most indebted. Through their example I am reminded to maintain a sense of awe and wonder; to live each day not as though it were my last, but my first!

As an advocate of early childhood education I believe that childhood is a most sacred phase in human development and nurturing a child’s spirit should be at the forefront of any curriculum. Through art and storytelling educators can encourage children to embrace the vastness that defines experience, belief and value; through the encouragement of questions and ignition of conversations that aid in determining that which cannot be understood, empathize with that which cannot be felt and celebrate that which cannot be encountered.

born and raised in New York. I relocated to the UK in 2001 where I teach preschool art and work as an Early Childhood Educator. I have a degree in Psychology and Studio Art, an Association of Montessori Internationale diploma and a Master’s in Education.
